Handwriting analysis cannot predict a person’s success, but qualities can be identified that drive successful action or stop it in its tracks. For example, a writer with strong determination, confidence, and persistence is bound to succeed in some areas. While a serious lack of will power, confusion of interests, and indecisiveness will make it very challenging to stay focused on achieving goals that require effort and endurance. While many goals are set from the heart, many are based on the needs and expectations of others. The ability to achieve will depend on energy level, motivation, and commitment as well as an individual’s focus and intent.

Success is defined as the achievement of something attempted. Your letter refers to being “80% accomplished” in meeting your life’s objectives. Congratulations! Yet you also say, “It’s too late now. I’m in my twilight years…” to reach your dream of making good money.

Some people dream of financial wealth and take any job that pays well. However, although the cash is pouring in, they may soon feel unfulfilled because they are not enjoying the work they are doing. Ideally we want to love what we do and get paid well for it.

This writing sample shows that you no longer put energy into achieving your goals. The t-crossings are very light, and some of them end to the left of the stem indicating a lack of motivation. So as your letter indicates, perhaps you have settled into the idea that “it’s too late now.”

However, there is imagination in your writing that can help you visualize what you want; an important tool in actually achieving your desires. Analytical ability and comprehension are also helpful in understanding and choosing between options. Optimism is a big plus because it helps you get through the more challenging times by keeping a positive attitude. Perhaps, after your years of experience, acquired wisdom, and spiritual growth, you could take another look at those goals you once made and morph them into ones you can take more seriously.

And, although you may not have achieved your dream of riches, you may be far richer than you think. Consider the words of Bessie Anderson Stanley in her essay published in 1905:

“He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much; who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of little children; who has filled his niche and accomplished his task; who has left the world better than he found it, whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem, or a rescued soul; who has never lacked appreciation of earth’s beauty or failed to express it; who has always looked for the best in others and given the best he had; whose life was an inspiration; whose memory a benediction.”
