Wow! Our World Tour Update

What a trip! I returned to California on October 11 and have been resting, catching up, crunching numbers, celebrating my birthday, preparing for the Hawaii portion of the Tour, and smiling with the memories ever since. By the way, the above pic was taken in Hondo, Texas.

Some early numbers

Including the 8 days in May/June of this year when I delivered 237 books in California when the official Tour idea hit, I’ve driven more than 10,000 miles in my Mini. 600+ If Roses Were Blue books were hand-delivered, mostly to little libraries, but also a few organizations and some people I met along the way. Spent 49 days on the road and drove through 20 states! Here is a sampling of images!

Images top left to bottom right: Santa Barbara, CA, Flagstaff, AZ, Clinton Township, MI, New Bern, NC,

my working map in Smyrna, GA, Las Cruces, NM.

The Tour continues with 2 islands in Hawaii and is still all happening through the kindness of others, so feel free to donate via the Tour page to help cover hotel, gas, etc.

Why am I doing this? To encourage and inspire survivors of abuse everywhere. To you I say: You are worthy. You are lovable. You are phenomenal! And to remind everyone that there’s always something you can do to Wow! your life and our world.

Check out my posts on Bluesky here: debbiejenae.bsky.social where I’ve been documenting the trip.

By the way, if you’ve discovered a copy of If Roses Were Blue in a little library near you, take a pic and send it to me with your location! Or post it to your social media and share the link or post it to mine on Bluesky. Want to do more? Check my Tour page for ideas.
